Clive Faircloth

Clive Fairlcoth

Charity Governor

Clive has a lifetime's experience in education, teaching in Kent and Dorset. Within this has been over thirty years of pastoral work in mixed comprehensive schools. Much of his work has been with pupils who find it difficult, for a wide variety of reasons, to fit into mainstream education. Having been both deputy-head and headteacher of what became an 'outstanding' school he retired.

Retirement for him means being active including: working as an advisor for the education department of Salisbury diocese; keeping a hand in the classroom doing supply teaching and being governor of his local primary school which serves two socially deprived areas of town.

Theresa Fogell

Charity Governor

Theresa has recently retired from teaching; she has wide experience in a variety of Educational Settings at Deputy Head and Senior Leadership Team level including working with children who are unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural difficulties, social, emotional and medical issues.

She is committed to supporting young people in education and welcomes the opportunity to use her skills and expertise for the benefit of the school, its pupils and parents.

Theresa has two daughters and has recently become a grandmother so she has a continuing interest in ensuring that the best educational opportunities are presented to young people. She is using some of her spare time to study for a Ph.D. focusing on the development of self-esteem through personal, social and health education for young people. Theresa is aware of the need to provide an education that benefits the whole child and does not have a narrow view of what education involves in terms of just valuing academic achievement.
