Consultation for Proposed Admission Arrangements 2019/20

6th December 2017

We are proposing to make changes to the school’s admissions arrangements for the academic year 2019/2020. The school wishes to move to coeducational provision. The rationale for this change is to meet local need by providing high quality specialist education for children and young people of both sexes with social, emotional and mental health needs and associated learning needs. The need for local provision to be extended to girls as well as boys has been identified by Surrey County Council.

A formal consultation, to seek feedback on the above changes, will take place for a minimum of 6 term time weeks between Wednesday 6th December 2017 and Wednesday 31st January 2018.

Your views on any aspect of the admission arrangements will be sent to our Local Governing Body and the Board of Directors for consideration. All responses received by the end of the consultation period will be carefully considered and will decide the admission arrangements for the school year 2019/2020. Once the arrangements have been determined, they will be publicised by 6th April 2018.
